●私はここ数年間ケルトの文化や遺跡の残る土地、イングランドのコンウォ－ル地方やスコットランド、アイルランドを撮影してきました。
作品『シ－の国』の"シー"はゲ－ル語で妖精を意味します。子供の頃から私にとって妖精の存在は特別なものでした。
バレエ物語の中に登場する妖精達に憧れていた私は、現在もステージ上の彼らに魅了され続けています。
2007年よりイギリスのヨークシャー地方へ移住。

- I worked as a stage photographer in the company AI.
The boss of this company Atushi Ijima is an acknowledged pioneer and master of ballet and dance photography in Japan.
He personally trained me to his exacting standards and provided me with several high profile photographic opportunities in Japan and abroad throughout this intense five year apprenticeship, including giving me sole responsibility for photographing the performances of Nureyev`s partner, the world famous Yoko Morishita and her Matuyama Ballet Company. - 1997;
- I lead the AI team at the Lausanne Ballet Competition in Switzerland.
